BOSS RV3 Digital Reverb/Delay Effects Pedal

BOSS RV3 Digital Reverb/Delay Effects Pedal
Made in Taiwan

Reverb is my favorite and more frequently used guitar effects. I find that I am either at the '10 - Hall' or at the '11 - Plate' reverb setting. I sometimes try to use 'delay' but have not learned to use it or set it right.

Id been using a Boss DD-3 borrowed from a friend when I went out to buy my own, but came back with the RV-3.

You get the same quality of tone in the delay's repeats, with a range that will cover the needs of most guitarists

The reverb is exellent, not because it sounds as good as my Alesis Midiverb 'cause it doesnt, but because it integrates so well with your guitar signal it sounds better than many amps with built in spring reverb.

There is no 'spring' setting but the 'Plate' setting in a live mix is my choice when playing a non reverb amp.
There are 'room' settings (Great with acoustic guitar BTW)'Hall' and 'Plate'.

On ebay you'll find ten DD-3 pedals for every one RV-3 up for sale, and its because its just so useful, that people tend to keep them.
The combined settings are were this pedal earns its keep. setting '4' is my 'go to', as it gives me a subtle 'room' reverb with a delay time Ill set around 220ms,and thats about it really. It works for most of the stuff I do, and if you want to get all David Gilmour about it the pedal is certainly along for the ride
